I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, since then I have been seeing Dr Shugarman for my long term treatment. She is unlike any Dr. I've ever been to, she is caring, compassionate, easy to understand. I tell everyone that she is a blessing to women facing my diagnosis. She takes something very scary and turns it into a cope able experience. I have referred other women to her and they have all said the same. Her staff is also amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Shugarman if you find yourself with a similar diagnosis.
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Shugarman! The best bedside manner of most any Dr. I have ever seen. She talks with you loke you are FAMILY! I would not have wanted to go through this 2nd cancer diagnosis without her!

My career in healthcare spans over 50 years…as a nurse, administrator and surveyor. I am new to this area and was referred to Dr. Shugarman after having abnormal labs. She and her staff are gifts from God! I have never experienced such compassionate, personal and efficient care as I have received from Dr. Shugarman and her staff! The Hematologist, Dr Shugarman and her staff; The Hippocratic oath to “first, do no harm” and “ make the care of your patients your first concern” was obviously lost on this last doctor I saw, so buyer beware. If you’re looking for good healthcare from a hematologist who will hire office staff that treat the patient with respect and dignity, you definitely want to skip this doctor. I left another cancer center in Jacksonville because of personal views of my own and others who also left for the same reasons. It was the absolute best decision of my life. Dr. Shugarman is an awesome Dr. She is very thorough & personable. Unlike some, she always goes above & beyond what is expected of her. Myself, and my family would recommend her highly to anyone needing an excellent Hematologist.

Excellent , very smart ,up to date oncologist . Has needed sense of humor and is always willing to discuss treatment and options . Personality fits the speciality. Tops in our book !
