I have a client who was told by the IRS to find a new bookkeeper and tax preparer back in 2010. That is when she fired Iley and Associates and contracted with me. I hope that the IRS and others give these businesses a break. Don Iley and his company sent the businesses the correct information but filed false reports to the IRS and other government entities. Mr. Iley embezzled millions of dollars from over 120 small companies in Colorado. He would prepare their payroll and for two years (2014, 2015) he pocketed all of the money these companies thought were being submitted to the federal government - social security, medicare and federal withholding. He would give them one report and then filed different reports with the IRS stating that no monies were owed. Promises, Promises – I hired Iley to get away from a rotten accountant. I paid the "UP FRONT" fee and the monthly fees from 4/10 until 8/10 and received absolutely nothing back. In August I told them to stop the automatic withdrawl of the monthly fee. They said yes then in November and December again started withdrawls without my authority.. We charged this client a standard setup fee for beginning accounting services. I met with the client and clearly explained mutual espectations and what data and information we would need on an ongoing basis in order to provide them with financial statements as well as all other services. The client was contacted on a monthly basis with a request for that same data that was never provided. The best CPA on the planet!! – We have worked with Don for over 8 years. He is an absolute superior CPA. He is professional and knows what is the best steps for you personally and your business. I have always recieved a call back and if for some reason did not, well I just call him again. I feel he did not recieve my message, because he is far too attentive to ever leave any door closed. I recommend him for all your accounting needs.

Takes your money and you won't get anything in return – I understand when it's tax season, accountants are busy....but when you're a paying client and can't get a single phone call back when you've got just a couple weeks to get your taxes in is stressful. I've paid more than $600 to this company and haven't received anything from the accountant. It is our policy to never accept prepayment of tax preparation fees. In each and every case, we bill a client for tax prep fees only on delivery of the return. The client pays us as they accept the return after a thorough review of the return. Therefore it is simply not possible that the client would have paid money and received nothing in return.
