He was a poor listener and laughed at me when I suggested getting a second opinion. I told him how I was feeling and what I thought it might be (and ended up being correct in the long run). He was incorrect with his diagnosis which has caused long lasting issues in my life today.
My best doctor, ever. Polite, knowledgeable, compassionate, careful.
I have been seeing the same general Dr. for 20 yrs and settling for complacency and poor care. After 1 visit w/Dr. Ilbawi, I knew I would be a fool not to switch docs. Dr. Ilbawi made it an easy decision. No regret. He is AWESOME, caring, gentle, attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable.
My husband and his elderly mother are both patients of Dr. Ilbawi. He is knowledgeable and kind and genuinely interested in his patients as people. He offers his perspective and listens to his patients and respects their wishes. He is thorough, but doesn't recommend every test Medicare will pay for unless they are medically advised. He follows up by email with a personal review of blood work and his recommendations and makes himself available to answer any questions we've had. Truly wonderful!
Dr. Illbawi was clear regarding his diagnosis, and was comforting and relatable. Highly recommend!
I love this guy. He's thorough, polite, explains things well, and treats you like a person. He's the best doctor I've ever had.
