Had a great meal at Il Pesce in Eataly Flatiron. The grilled octopus and calamari with mashed potatoes were excellent—tender, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back.
It's my third or fourth time visiting II Pesce with my wife and the food has been consistent each time. - We've had the Branzino, different pastas and even the crudos. Everything has been delicious on all of our visits. The restaurant is located inside Eataly, one of the may food options available, it's a small restaurant with excellent food and ambient. Don’t bother. I ordered Campari spritz, the server brought a gin and tonic. Then I ordered bruschetta. They brought me an old cold toast with plain cherry tomatoes halved and olive oil drizzle. The toast was burned - but cold. I was looking for warm toast with tasty tomato mix / hot or warm. This place is bad. Never coming back.

Tiny portions, loud, and took a long time to seat and then take an order. Really odd and I didn’t appreciate how they handled it.
