My 8 week old had her tongue and lip tie lasered at iKids. The staff were exceptional. They spent a great deal of time with us patiently explaining the procedure and answering questions. I was reassured and was really glad I decided to stay in the room for the procedure because I could tell my daughter was only crying because she was upset there were hands and instruments in her mouth and not from any actual pain. We attended today for a ?tongue tie for my 8 week old baby. Till now, we've been seen by at least 5 lactation specialists at SJOG Subi, including a home LC visit, Ngala and KEMH breastfeeding centre. We have also seen our GP, a paediatrician, multiple midwives and a visiting child health nurse. The tongue tie was mentioned as a possibility by a few LCs but no one was willing to give us a firm answer on whether they needed doing. Eve the LC is amazing!
