Its a relaxing restaurant not fancy. The jerk chicken with coconut rice was amazing. The waiter was friendly and made recommendations. They also served food for those with a boring palette. Some of our group ordered BLT and soup. It was a homemade vegetable and tomato cream soup that was dairy free, they all really liked it. Its a small town restaurant, thats comfortable to go to no matter what your day is like.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the butter chicken with coconut rice, slaw, and naan — every bite was packed with layers of rich, complex flavor. Our son went with the jerk chicken served with rice and beans, while his girlfriend tried the Ghana pancakes with hash browns. Everything hit the spot.
Heard food was great. Joined 8 family members for lunch 4 had grilled cheese & soup. Soup excellent, grilled cheese looked great on top burnt black on bottom. Totally black. 2 had burgers which they said were great. Fries were a dark brown but still eatable, Each meal came out 5 to 10 minutes apart. I ordered chicken wrap. Went for authentic jerk chicken and everything was microwaved, my husband had the hamburger and fries and the hamburger was some cheap thin patty. All around it was absolutely disgusting and the price for the gross food was outrageous. We’ve never been back since. Do not recommend this place at all. Edit: I know when the food is microwaved and not fresh! Your food is garbage. Plain and simple.
