The food is great, and the service is usually great as well. Staff is kind and generous with portions usually. Recently, though, the last few times I've ordered I've noticed they put on gloves and then touch the crab before filling my bowl. I wouldn't find problem with this if I were ordering crab, but I order vegetarian! Everything else is delightful - just the crab touching that I find puzzling and off-putting.

IJ Sushi Burrito at Alderwood Mall is SO GOOD! 🍣🔥 I had such a great experience here! I ordered the California Roll with spicy mayo, and WOW, it tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. Every bite had so much flavor, and I loved how all the flavors came together at once. The crab was packed with flavor, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the spicy mayo added the perfect little kick. They have the California burrito listed as gluten free on their menu, but the crab isn’t listed as gluten free. When I asked if the California was gf, they said no. It seems like poor practice to mislabel allergens on the menu :/ I appreciate places trying to be accommodating, but you can really make someone sick this way.

Best sushi burritos I’ve ever had. They’re definitely pricey but hey the foods good at least.

New bowls mean less food, though same price. Used to love coming here as they would pack in all their ingredients in a rich of bowl of deliciousness. My bowl today was barely full and mostly cucumbers. Extremely disappointing as this was my favorite when I would come to the mall.
