Worst Italian restaurant – I've lived on the peninsual for years and this place used to be good but I went back after a while and the place sucked! It was the worst Italian food I have ever had. I can make better Italian food in my own kitchen. The prices are high and not at all worth the food. I ordered pizza, I mean how do you mess that up! It was so salty I couldn't eat it and the crust was soggy! On top of all of that they messed up our order and forgot to bring items and didn't pay attention to us at all.
NICE SERVICE – Great food.. I get take out! I like healthy food.. so I ask for it the way I like it. Others get pasta & it looks REALLY yummy! The appetizers are excellent.
WOW! What a find! – We were desperate for a good thin crust real italian pizza. After finding another recommended restaurant closed, we headed to Newport beach hoping to find something on the fly. Starving, we happened into Il Farro. Following the recommendations of our waitress, we ordered two homemade pasta dishes and one margarita pizza. It was all wonderful. The pastas were fresh and firm.
