This IHOP is fairly new and yet the best in the area imo. On my second visit a few days ago, food was again delicious; service was punctual & attentive. Diner was clean, which does not equate to new; pride in the staff.
This place sucks. The waiters and waitresses are swamped with people which brings down their ability to provide sufficient service. They’re often rushed to get the customer in and out. Managers are never around. Location is very small compared to any other ihop I’ve been to. I’ve here three different times and all three times it has been a complication of some sort. Today’s issue is that their computers went down so they’re only taking cash. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.
Service was okay, in my experience hostesses and servers are almost annoyingly happy and upbeat. Not here. The food was okay, my benedicts were overcooked, my hash browns were undercooked yet overcooked. And my sausage links were cold. At $5 for 4 links that makes each over a dollar, at that price I'd expect them to at least be hot. Seems like cooking staff needs more training.
