Satisfying service dining area wasn't busy. Very peaceful the cook Kenneth took care of my order
So glad we decided to stop by a Friday night! Around 9:30pm. Our server miss Faye was excellent very friendly and informative! We really felt honored to go in and get her as our server! The food was excellent! Fresh and affordable! What more can you ask! Can’t wait to be back! Loved my pancakes etc!
The food was good, and the presentation was great. However, the service could have been better. As a former server, I know how important it is to make customers feel welcome and valued from the beginning of their visit until the very end not just when it’s time to ask for a review. I also noticed some spider webs by the windows directly above one of the occupied tables, which took away from the overall dining experience. I did an online order that was supposed to be ready for 8:45am, got there at about 9am, first all the place smells and it was very hot, there were 2 people ahead of me waiting to be seated, one of the ladies that was waiting to be seated decided to leave, after about 10 minutes I decided to walk into the dining area and a waitress attention to see about my order...they was still preparing it! First time in Metairie, LA. I went to this location a young lady by the name of Myalan L serviced me at first she was polite but then she went to the kitchen and I could over hear her and young man I believe the cook in the kitchen talking about their customers. Poor service. I also asked for shredded cheese and I got.. & I also asked for a spicy poblano omelette & I got.. not the omelette I asked for. It’s ridiculous.
