Emily DiGiovanni listened to my problem... and then preceded to explain why testing my hormones wouldn't help. She was totally uninterested in helping me troubleshoot my issues or explore other possible causes, testing, or treatments. She's probably fine for a pap smear - but I wouldn't trust her for anything else.
I've been with IHA since my first pregnancy back 3 years ago. I was so excited to have IHA in network again after switching jobs. These doctors and NP are all fantastic and do great work. I feel like I can trust them and they take time to make sure my questions are answered. Happy to be delivering my second child with them in a few weeks time.
this review is being posted 4 years later for NP Paula Blankenship. If you are a victim of sexual abuse/assault Paula is very vigilant, sensitive, and compassionate. She is aware of signs of abuse, addresses them, and handles her services with you accordingly. I will always remember her kindness to me as a 20 year old who was seen as overdramatic, when I was very scared.
I can't speak highly enough of this practice. The receptionists, MAs, nurses, and physicians all really care about their patients and it shows. I've seen just about every physician here (This is my 3rd and final pregnancy so we've been rotated through just about everyone) and have only had a bad experience with one. Incredibly rude receptionist from the moment she answered the phone. Absolutely zero customer service here, or any manners at all really. They do not listen to you, talk over you, interrupt you on the phone and just out right ignored questions I asked to talk over me. Very sad as a lot of people have a lot of anxiety surrounding doctors and making appointments, and some simply just didn’t have anyone show them and are trying to navigate doctors and insurance on their own.
