Dr. Igor Belyanski has a great attitude and is easy to talk to during the pre-op meeting. His team of nurses was great too. We discussed stitches verses laparoscopic surgery. We decided to do stitches based on the Doctors recommendations. The actual surgery day went smoothly and he kept my wife will informed on my progress. After years of research and pain from a previous hernia mesh surgery, I found an angel - Dr. Belyansky. I was told by two top surgeons that there was no way my mesh could be removed safely. I had an abdominal wall repair. He is a great surgeon and a great man. The surgery was perfect the same with the post, the visit to his office and the whole recovery. Even though he is one if not the best surgery on his field, he is a very humble person. Thanks to him I recover my figure
Personable and amazingly competent as a surgeon, but provides zero aftercare. After the six hour surgery, I experienced problems that I did not understand; his PA said I “must be having a difficult recovery.” At my post op meeting neither he nor a member of the surgical team attended, and the PA said merely to call if I had further problems. He’s great at the surgical part of his job, but thereafter I’m seeing several other doctors for help w my recovery.

Amazingly talented & caring surgeon. This dr helped me with a very complex problem when almost no other surgeon wanted to. He did it the way that best catered to my concerns & needs. He has a great bedside manner & works at one of the best hospitals I've ever been a patient at. Together all these traits make him one of the best surgeons in the country currently in my opinion. Which could be why I drove halfway across the country to be his patient. You couldn't choose a better surgeon then dr B.
