I'm being generous. The staff they can keep is overworked. 98% of the time, nursing is working with a skeleton crew. The residents are who really are hurt by their refusal to adequately staff the facility. The DON is an LPN legally it has to be a RN, so the administrator who is a RN does the work. Ignite in general has a horrible reputation in the nursing community. A dog deserves more than Ignite
My father in law was here to receive some extra therapy after the hospital, and I was truly blown away with how amazing everything was. You could tell the people that work there, really care about their patients and the families. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Therapy did an excellent job and my father in law said the food was great. Every time you walked by someone they had a smile on their face and would say hi. Substandard conditions, food is bad and they never have enough beverages
Ignite has done a beautiful job for me. The staff treats me very well. They are effective and efficient. The therapists who have provided physical and occupational therapy for me have done a great job and I am making excellent progress. The nurses and the nursing aids are all very good at what they do and have treated me extremely well. The food is very good and I complemented the executive chef personally because I wanted to make sure they knew how well their team is doing. The wound nurse Stephanie has been fabulous as has all the rest of the staff. But Stephanie has gone way out of her way to get all the photographs of me and more. I think that will ever be needed. She is one of my favorites. And she has always gone out of her way to make me happy.
