Been meaning to try this place for a while and I finally got the chance to a few days ago. I was treated to a beautiful solo dining experience by my server (Jenna I think) at the counter. I had a starter and two of the lighter mains and finished with a sundae. Food was great and went perfectly with a glass of a really good French red. I felt very welcomed there by staff and at ease. The environment was really cool and comfy. I will definitely be returning.
The pasta was good, but overall, I was a little underwhelmed. The portions were pretty small for the prices, and while I enjoyed the food, I’ve definitely had better pasta elsewhere. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill for just two people. I understand gratuity for larger parties, but automatically adding 20% for a table of two feels excessive and takes away the option to tip based on the experience. I cannot say enough good things about Iggy's! The food is delicious, and they have the best group dining, family-style option. Also the service is top notch. I booked a group reservation and had to modify it three times due to unforeseen circumstances. Julie was so helpful getting everything changed for me and did not bat an eye when I had to make my third change. Iggy's is top notch!
