Security guard falsely accused me of stealing. Emptied my pockets with nothing but tissues, but he still pressed me on. He should get fired and find a new job.
Disappointing experience due to rude and inconsiderate staff. They refused my return, claiming that IGA does not accept returns because of product quality. However, this directly contradicts what is stated on the IGA website. Very frustrating and misleading.
Overpriced and doesn't take part in Sobeys bonus program like other IGAs do (ie Scene points). Some of the worst produce in Vancouver (green bananas, moldy vegetables) - I just opened a pepper and it had bugs crawling around inside (I've never seen that from anything I've bought from Safeway). I struggle to find anything good about this location other than it is conveniently located next to my home.
Stale muffins, moldy produce. No exchanges, no returns. Management never responds to reviews. I suppose because THEY JUST DON'T CARE - and it shows from the management on down to the clerks. Take your business to Safeway or Save-On Foods - they treat their customers with much more respect.
