My mother-in-law moved from South Carolina to our home here in Texas 8 years ago and had a scare with her heart immediately the ambulance brought her to McKinney Hospital and Dr Iftikar was on the floor. Dr. Iftkhar Faizan is a wonderful and very smart and kind doctor. He is both my wife and my cardiologist. The first thing I can say is that he listens when we talk and we can tell he cares. His staff is also very friendly and smart and I have asked them probing questions to gouge their own personal thoughts about Dr. Iftikhar Faizan who I prefer to call Dr. Iftikhar. Communication was completely lacking and I needed my results for surgery. Dr Fairbanks had to be called the day of my surgery and still did not provide my results.

I have experienced nothing but kindness and respect from the Dr. And his staff. I have been going for several years and have always been told up front my cost based on what my insurance will pay.

So far, so good. I switched from Jodie Hurwitz at the North Texas Heart Center simply because every visit to her necessitated blocking out 5 hours of my day. Dr. Iftikhar is just 20 minutes from me and appears well rated on various other health professional rating services. My first visit seems to be as expected. Dr. Iftikhar performed an EKG, found a questionable item for further review and showed it to me. He explained clearly his concerns and I received an ECG shortly after. We'll see how it goes.
