Took my Forester to iDyno for a ~200kw tune. 2 weeks later, CEL came on and car was blowing clouds of grey smoke. Took the car to MSR who diagnosed tune as dangerously lean and found hole in a piston (see pics). Ended up paying MSR to put in a new motor and tune, recommend him highly. Wish I went there first and saved myself $10k.

If I could give this business a 0 rating I would ... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I took my supra into this shop in dec 2014 to get my engine build done .. I was asked to pay half the amount up front as the business owner "Brent" didn't have enough to pay for parts .. so I put up the 11k for parts I was told my car would be ready in 3-6months .. one year later it's still not done I have lost count on how many times I have called them and then not answering the phone because of caller id and when I call on private number it j... read more
I recently had Major work done to my Hsv Clubsport @ Idyno, I found Brent (The Owner) to be very knowledgeable and helpful. As i need my car to get around, (As i am in wheelchair). Brent stayed open till Late, so he could finish my car. And i could once again be mobile. I would Highly Recommend IDyno for any Mechanical work.
