We enjoyed our stay at Excell Escape! It is a spacious house with beautiful windows. The kitchen had all the utensils needed. Anyone sleeping in the loft would hear what is going on downstairs, but we all went to bed and woke up at the same time so that wasn’t a problem. Great game room on the lower level! We did not open up the sofa for sleeping, so don’t know how comfortable it is. The other two beds were comfortable. The A/C and heating system is up to date!
Close enough to walk to town, secluded and quiet enough to enjoy nature. Kitchen set up is great for cooking. Hot water takes a while to reach the sinks when it’s cold outside. Business office is helpful if you need help or have a question. Spacious living room and master bedroom are comfortable. It’s a peaceful and tranquil cabin. Just the refresher we needed for a weekend getaway from the city.
Wonderful experience! The cabins are always so well kept and the customer service is outstanding. There’s a reason we keep booking with them. Lovely town as well!

Relaxing Stay in a Beautiful Setting We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at The Flying Saucer. The cabin is cozy, clean, and full of character, with fun retro touches and a very comfortable feel. Surrounded by tall pines and stunning mountain views, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The host was helpful and everything was well thought out. A great escape in a beautiful part of Idyllwild — we’d love to come back.
