We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday here. The service was great (thanks Sue!) and the food was delicious!
I had such a lovely breakfast here today. It seems I always end up with Sue, and her commitment to providing a comfortable and friendly experience for her patrons is felt each time I visit. You can tell she puts her heart into making sure everyone feels welcome and happy. The smoked salmon eggs benedict was out perfectly done! The coffee was fresh and strong and the lattes were absolutely scrumptious. I can't wait for the next opportunity to start my day here!
We have stayed at Idlewyld before and had a reservation to stay again this past September for our anniversary . We were 30 minutes away from arriving when we received a call that our dog was very ill and had to go to the animal hospital , so we turned around and headed home immediately. We contacted Idlewyld and explained the emergency , and they were very understanding and waived the room fee for that night .
