We recently got married at the Penny and they contract with Idlewild Floral Co. as one of their preferred vendors for dried florals. Needless to say, everything came out so beautiful on my wedding day. They used inspiration photos to craft flowers that match my color palette. I will say that the bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, and bridesmaid bouquets were a bit pricey but definitely worth it, ! I lost my brother a few months ago, and my son and his girlfriend ordered bouquets for me and my mom from Idlewild Floral. In the time of grieving those gorgeous bouquets brought us some joy! the best part of it - they live almost forever! Naturally I decided to order a bouquet from them to be sent to my daughter for her birthday. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA, and misses CA. Somehow the bouquet got lost in delivery. Ordered a bouquet online for Mother's Day and it's not even father's day and many flowers are wilting. I also opted for the larger size and it still doesn't even remotely fit the vase I bought with it. My mother used the paper it came with to stuff into the vase to make it stay upright. The pictures actually make the colors way brighter than they look, not that I'm upset about the colors, I get how dried flowers work. YIKES! I gave these to my mother for Mother's Day. My mom opened the box to find an assortment of dried flowers, not a bouquet in a vase and nothing like the photo on the website. She just stuck the the entire box of flowers randomly in a vase. Thankfully, I was coming in a few days to remedy the situation. Thank God, I was gay and went to design school because otherwise, my Mother's Day gift would have been a disaster. I would recommend not purchasing from Idlewild unless you are artistically inclined.
