I have been searching for an artist to do my tattoo for 2 years. A friend of mine got her tattoo done by Flex and it was amazing. So I scheduled an appointment and we started brainstorming designs. Flex was the only artist I had been too that was able to bring my idea to life. It turned out amazing. I 100% recommend Idle Hands and 100% recommend Flex.
Some friends and I made an appointment with Flex on our recent trip to NOLA, and I couldn’t be happier. Flex was kind and professional, tolerated our silly shenanigans while we waited, and gave us all exactly what we asked for. Thank you, Flex, for being such a pleasant part of my first NOLA experience, and for the beautiful souvenir :)
Walked right in got my little crescent moon tattoo from Shawn who was great! We chatted and had a few laughs, I didn’t know it was possible to get a tattoo that doesn’t hurt until today. So, thanks to Shawn and Idle hands. I’ll keep a little piece of NOLA with me forever 🖤

Awesome work! Flex got us in, helped me and my son decide on our artwork, got both of us and my wife all set after about 4-5 hours. Flex talked a lot with us, for myself and my son, it was our first tattoos. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Must say that if we’re ever down here from Michigan again, we WILL be stopping!! Prices were VERY affordable as well! Thank you Flex!

I honestly picked this shop not only for the reviews and the work but because it was purple! I met the owner flex and it turns out he’s from Lancaster which is only about 20 minutes from where I’m from! He was super funny and he did a GREAT job on my tattoo!
Flex has done two tattoos for me and has always been professional and accommodating. The shop is clean and well kept. Best place to get a tattoo if you are in the city. I get compliments weekly from the work he did!
