I had a great experience at Idle Hands. I contacted then ahead of my trip after doing a lot of research about tattoo parlours in NOLA. Flex got back to me quickly and we set everything up via text. I sent him a bunch of pictures with an idea and he sketched something up ahead of time to make sure we were on the same page. I loved it, and we did the sizing when I got there. Went here for a walk-in and Flex helped me with this amazing fleur de lis tattoo, he’s very cool and a fellow Philly sports fan!! Had a great time talking wrestling and sports.... I had wanted a nice NOLA souvenir and found the perfect one!! The shop is clean and the staff is awesome. So glad I found this place!!

Great shop ! Flex & Jody are both extremely professional & kind. I was absolutely nervous getting my first tattoo, but I was immediately made to feel welcomed & comfortable by Flex. My husband came in with an idea for his tattoo & Jody’s work surpassed anything he imagined. We left with a perfect memory & beautiful artwork to help us remember our honeymoon. Of all the shops my friends called in New Orleans to get souvenir tattoos this place actually followed through and responded and made appointments. They also humored us annoying tourists getting the same tattoo they'd probaby done a millon times. Their prices were mind blowingly fair and their art was high quality!
Me, my wife and our friends wanted to get inked to commemorate our trip to NOLA. We combed through lots of tattoo parlors and kept hitting a wall of flakes, losers and morons--including those at some pretty famous places. :( Flex got back to us right away, kept in contact, was exceedingly reasonable on the deposit and price, and did killer work. If you're looking for awesome art from someone who actually knows the definition of responsibility and customer service, you WILL NOT go wrong at Idle Hands!!
