Over a 10 year period, both my children have been evaluated by Dr. Idit Trope for learning differences. On each occasion, I have been very pleased with my decision to work with her. My children felt very comfortable in her office and were eager to be part of the evaluation process. Dr. Trope has been invaluable in my daughter’s continued success. She evaluated my daughter and relentlessly worked to ensure that my daughter received the accommodations necessary for her to achieve her potential. Dr. Trope’s evaluation was extremely comprehensive and tailored to my daughter’s needs. After paying for the time and offering detailed information on our child, Idit Trope ignored the history and information and gave test results solely on the black and white answers on the tests. She never addressed our concerns and the very expensive evaluation gave us no help whatsoever in addressing our child's needs. She said she would advocate for our child as part of the fee charged, but wouldn't even answer our questions to help us understand specific aspects of the testing without having us make an additional appt. an... read more
