I always thought highly of IDEXX but once I start working here it was a completely different story. Management is awful, they will preach one thing and their actions will reflect the opposite. It’s quantity over quality at this lab, no matter how many of us lab employees have pointed out quality control issues. It’s unfortunate and disheartening.
DO NOT WORK HERE. All your co-workers will be helpful in training you but middle and upper management is a whole other story. Atrocious. Like many work places, they like to blame each other and never give an honest, straight answer. Quantity over quality at this location. Super disappointing because I wanted to find a job that I could help pet parents with diagnostic knowledge and to feel like I'm making a difference in saving animals. Do not work here. If you are offered a job thru Artech or another staffing company do not accept. They will work you for a few months and once “the work load” is low they WILL let you go due to “work reduction”. Working here was an absolute waste of time.
For a place that supposedly cares about your animals. They don’t, my dog was vomiting and having diarrhea for a week and I was late, which I hardly am ever late at all and I explained my situation. I called out ONE day to take her to the hospital and then I get fired on my day off. On top of this being the stressful job I ever had. It’s not even worth it.
