Idexx lab sent blood work back to the vet claiming my 13 year old was in kidney failure . She was not. We then had a follow up with her cardiologist. It showed everything was normal , as they had been for last year and a half. If she had been in kidney failure there is no coming back from that . She was never in distress and her overall health hadn’t changed. But when her meds were lowered her cough got worse. I put her meds back up. Idex lost the biopsy that my veterinarian sent in 11 days ago. Three different reasons were provided as to why the wait was so long (a storm, the sample needing multiple cuts, etc). Finally when called again by my vet, they reported that there was no tumor in the tissue sent, which is entirely false, as she had a full surgery to remove a very visible mast cell tumor.
