Idexx lost my dog’s biopsy sample and took 11 days to provide my veterinarian with several different reasons, until finally stating they had no results. The “excuses” were first a storm delay, then a requirement for additional cuts to the sample, then we were told there was no tumor in the tissue sent, which is false, as she had a sizable mast cell tumor surgically removed and sent for testing. Second visit to this Candler/Skyland Veterinary Clinic with my young dog. As my dog is being trained as a service dog (diabetic support), I brought him in to complete the submission for a FAVN Titre test. A titre test is done to guarantee adequate antibodies produced from the required rabies vaccinations, and the documentation is required to enter many countries around the world including Hawai'i and several Caribbean islands. They did the FAVN test for my dog. And when asked if the report was on the way to me, they didn’t know where the report was sent to, my vet or the Chinese customs. Thanks to them, I may have to give my dog up. Because my visa isn’t long enough for me to stay for another test. I hope you go bankrupt soon!
