Permit Required!!!! Permit is Required! I called Ideal Steel Buildings to find out a little information about what was required for haivng one os these structures installed. Wanted to find out if I needed a permit to have one, unfortunately they are not educated or do not care. These structures are not considered portable; they are considered accessory structure by counties and cities. Accessory structures are required to obtain a permit. Its so funny that someone can sit back and insult a person for working 3 jobs to support his family. These people probably sit at home collecting their entitlements paid for by hard working people like the young man that runs this business. We purchased a beautiful building and he was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable with his product.
