I just called up my insurance company to report them as I believe they try to squeeze as much nonsense charges from new customers. I just tried to come in for a cleaning as a new patient and they told me because I was 15 mins late that I had to do all these new exams and X-rays and they might be able to clean my teeth? My husband was there the day before and they made him stay for almost 2 hours and them trying to sell him on a potential cavity, new crown and filling a space in between his teeth. Such an amazing office! From the hygienist, to Doctor Silva, and the front staff Hellen, everyone was so nice! I felt taken care of, safe and listened to! I’ll be doing all my work with you guys until I die 🤣 I’ll try to keep better care of my teeth this time 👀
All the bells and whistles but beware!
I came in for my first visit - a teeth cleaning - about 6 months ago. The office was very clean and modern, the hygienist was friendly and thorough, as was Dr. Silva who performed an exam at the end. Afterwards I was led to a side room where a staff member informed me that I was in need of a "deep cleaning" (aka "scaling and root planing"), a procedure which unfortunately my insurance didn't cover and would cost me $1100 out of pocket. Dr. Natalia Silva is a kind, patient loving, caring provider. She is the best dentist I have ever received my whole life. I recommend her to anybody that needs a great dentist. She also has the latest technology and outstanding service. I’m so lucky to have found Ideal Smiles of Stamford.
