After being quoted $5k, $4.5-5k, and $2-2.5k by three panel beaters in New Lynn for a smash and paint repair on my 2012 Honda, I arrived at Ideal and was quoted $1050. They stuck to that quote and the work was done on time to a very good standard. Communication was good. They saved me costs I would otherwise have been unable to afford. I cannot recommend Ideal highly enough.
Crashed my car beyond repair, twisted the chassie etc but I didn’t want to write it off, 2 and a half months after bringing my fto to their shops she’s perfect again, in better condition than my car was to start off with. Very lovely workers and a welcoming environment ! They took videos of repairing my car which I found quite cool and you can tell they 100% know what they’re doing. Very disappointed with the service. The panel work was not completed properly the first time, and my car was left dirty inside. After I complained, I was asked to bring it back to fix the issues and clean the car. While some of the work was corrected, the car still wasn’t cleaned even after I pointed out exactly what needed attention. Poor attention to detail and not the level of service I expected. Used them because they were local but never going back .
