Unfortunately, my dermatologist uses this lab ( I will be finding a new dermatologist). Just got a bill for 2 biopsies of very very small “blemishes “ on my face. After my Aetna insurance, my out of pocket was $635. This is outrageous and way overpriced. Can’t help but wonder what arrangement Ideal Labs has with my dermatologist. Can see why people don’t get routine skin cancer checks, I won’t be getting them annually anymore, can’t afford the lab work. Did I mention the dermatologist cost was an additional fee?
