I would highly recommend Aura for your insulation needs. My story involves a service visit by another insulation company followed by an acquisition of the installing company by Aura. The original contractor left me with unfinished work, missed appointments, and un-filed rebate applications., not to mention ghosting me. We were abandoned and very unhappy. VERY UNRESPONSIVE - We retained Ideal Home Energy for my home efficiency upgrades as part of our solar install. They did not complete the entirety of their scope, initially caused by weather delays. It's taken literal years of periodic calls and emails trying to get ahold of someone to finish the job. Also, they apparently don't do great work, because even after they re-insulate our attic, we still get condensation and drips from our ceiling during cold snaps. Update: I was just called and informed that there was an intracompany complication that resulted in the anomaly I experienced a couple of weeks ago. They are not going out of business, as the individual on the phone communicated to me, but they were purchased. Scheduling the appointment and installation went well on 12/19/24; however, the after-installation measurement needed to be rescheduled due to an instrument error. For over a month, I've followed up with emails and phone calls to Ben Wheeler and the main line to no response. Additionally, Xcel has no record of any paperwork filed (makes sense since there was no ending reading).
