RecommendedHighly recommend Ideal Credit Union. Been a member for a long time and moved out west a few years ago and just recently got an auto loan with them. They made it very easy and we’re very helpful. Even from across the country. My loan representative was very professional, helpful, efficient, and friendly. Ideal is the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. I had a positive balance in my checking account a month ago. I don’t have a check card, I don’t have checks, I don’t use this account. I received a notification that my checking is negative $89.00. I can’t view the account because ideal closed the account. How can I go from a positive balance to an $89 negative balance in less than a month for an account I don’t use!? $89 in fees!? I know that no one has illegally access the account. The worst customer service. Rude on the phone. Lost application. said they would call back in two days. Never did. I would never bank here.
I've been with this bank for about 18 years since it was postal credit union. I've had nothing but problems since it turned into ideal credit union. I purchased the house two months ago and every time I've had to buy something for this house my card has been declined and this credit union does not offer 24-hour card assistance so I could not get my purchases.
