Everyone at the center was so nice and made me feel relaxed because I didn’t know what to expect. I went through the procedures of tests, eyedrops and dilated eyes. I waited in a dark room with other very nice patients. Then I saw the doctor and he was very nice as was the sweet nurse. I got my injection and the next day I am able to see better. I am so grateful. Thank God there are treatments for my issue. It takes a while of waiting but it is so worth it because my eyesight is priceless.
I was referred to this retina specialist by my optometrist this last December. The earliest they could get me in was today, January 8th. Walking into the office, I can see why it took 3 weeks for me to get in. The place was so busy! There were people waiting to check in. The whole lobby area (there's 2 waiting areas) was jam packed and the hallway had a half dozen people chillin as well. I finally got checked in and got my new patient paperwork handed to me. This place is an eye (treatment) farm. Be warned! Be prepared to arrive at your appointment time and wait for at least an hour to as much as 2hrs to be seen. The office manager and staff have no remorse for their inadequacies involving scheduling and refuse to accommodate the patients needs, period. I engaged the staff regarding their inability to adhere to scheduling and was met with sarcasm and maltreatment. I am an executive at a hospital so I understand medical necessity and demand. Dr offers emergency after hours calls, but never returns the calls. Pretty disappointing service provider for my elderly mother.
They are very busy but make you feel like a valued patient. I feel blessed to be getting such good treatment
