Power cost adjustment, fixed cost adjustment, service charge, energy efficiency service, non summer energy charge(times 6)………. Y’all are running a great con scheme. I need to come take classes with yall on how to swindle this much money from someone ill be rich by the time Im 30.
We lost power last night. No heat. No hot water. One call to Idaho Power and they were quick to diagnose a failed stage. They repaired it promptly with kindness. I met with a tech named Scott and he was informative and reassuring. Thank you Scott!
Rejected my FDIC bank (Ally). Never have I had an institution reject my bank as a bank... It has a federally recognized routing number (per a quick Google) which is what they tried to claim was the reason (also saying they can't take venmo or similar - which are not banks obviously and not what Ally is). Absolutely absurd. Really awful. Also this applies to intermountain gas. Update y'all's systems.
Idaho power is an amazing company. They seem to go out of their way to help us customers solve problems. They have always been super kind to us, even on the phone. I suppose my only complaint with them is that something fishy seems to be up with solar customers. Ever since they changed the net meter rates, we haven't been able to carry a credit balance even though we are grandfathered in. DUPLICITOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES. My mother was moving out of a house, where the power was listed in my name. Toward the end of her time there, the power was turned off. My mom called me to see if I had turned it off; I had not. She told me that the rep she spoke with at Idaho Power couldn't discuss anything with her, because the account had been in my name. When I contacted them, I was told that there was no service at the address. In order for my mom to finish moving everything out of her house, she had to call to re-activat... read more
