I was so harassed and accused of owning a dead animal that I found & asked them to come get, that I hung up on the person who answered the call. She was rudest "dog catcher" I ever talked to. She actually called me back to insult me again! She twisted everything I said, accused me of trapping cats! She treated me like a criminal. In past years I have seen them at the front desk treat elderly people in a degrading way talking down at them. Don't believe anything they say. If you take a cat in there, you can be guaranteed it will be euthanized. Here are three reasons they've given me when I've brought some in...& then I didn't leave them there. 1) If it has a sniffle or just looks small or underweight (to them). 2) If it's pregnant. 3) Their cat shelter is crowded...so for every new cat you bring in, they euthanize one that's already there & hasn't been adopted.
