After spending an afternoon shopping for cameras at the big box stores, I dropped by idaho Camera on the way home. Finally someone that could answer my questions! Not only did the salesperson show me cameras in my price range, she showed me a less expensive camera that had everything I was looking for. Because of this I was able to buy the camera body and the two lenses that came with it PLUS a nice telephoto lense that I could have only dreamed of. Yes, they're a bit more expensive, but well worth it.
