Incredibly rude management, intentionally difficult to work with and the living spaces are not worth the prices.
I lived here for 2 years and it was not a safe building. Multiple times people would wander upstairs and open or try to open my door. My car was completely destroyed and vandalized in the paid attached parking lot.
I've lived at the Idaho Building for a year and have had a nice experience. The location and views are amazing. I also appreciate how prompt Parklane Management has been when I call or send emails about maintenance issues or other building related questions/concerns. Ex. the heater stopped working one winter morning and after sending in a request, a maintenance person came within a couple of hours and fixed the issue. Paper thin walls for exorbitant rents & poor management. Raising rents in occupied units based on “market activity” but will advertise lower rents in more desirable vacant units within the building, which is flat out contradictory.
Nice building, great location. Those are the upsides. The downsides are difficulties parking, shared washer and dryer (that are poorly maintained), erratic fire alarms, and occasional theft of deliveries.
