I would never recommend this pharmacy based on the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The pharmacist essentially refused to help me with a defective glucose monitor replacement because there was a bit of a phone issue with the glucose company initially. I was literally shocked at the way she spoke to me and handled it. I did end up going to the other Lake Cowichan IDA where a very kind pharmacist took the time to call in and figure out the tech issue and provided a replacement for me. This pharmacy is so disorganized it literally scares me. My prescriptions were good for about 6 months when I transferred to them from another pharmacy (at their suggestion). A few weeks later they said that I was out. I called the clinic and confirmed I was good for several months. The clinic said to ask the pharmacist to fax them and they would fax the prescription back. I called the pharmacist and told them this, and they said they would fax. We have just moved to town, and I just cannot get over the level of service one gets at this pharmacy. Ive come to realize, its not even the closest one to me, but I can't change now, l love this guy too much. I'm pretty sure he's the resident pharmacist, and he never fails to go out of his way to help me get what I need, even if he has to make phone calls or look stuff up or what have you. I have been going to this drug store for years now. Over the weekend was the first time i had an issue Went in on Friday around 3. So yes a little late. But had just gotten the prescription from the hospital. I told the lady my wife was curled up in a ball and in pain. She said monday? I just looked at her. So she said tomorrow at 10 So showed up at 10 and was told it come in late so it is not ready yet.
