I'll start by saying that the salon was clean and pleasant and I found the hair stylist to be professional in her demeanor. I chose this salon because of the great reviews. That was the positive. My appointment was for hair coloring and at my age, hair is at a premium so I can't afford to lose any! I had already loved the braids my daughter got with Amariyah, then today the owner went above and beyond to take care of my other two daughters appointments, we have finally found a "hair home" the best in skills and service, now I'm just hoping they get some more comfortable seating for us parents 😉

Today was my 2nd time going to Iconically Shea. The staff is amazing. Dexter gave me the best wash, blow dry and detox treatment. He is very detailed and knowledgeable. Every product he put on my hair he told me "this is for moisture" or "This is going to help with your dry scalp." My hair feels so soft and so clean. Also, he was playing Jill Scott tunes which created a relaxing environment. My appointment was at 9am and as I was walking up to the door he told me to meet him at the shampoo bowl. Dexter is a great stylist! He knows how to relate to his customers. My grandma enjoyed her visit and she's excited about her next appointment.
