Ordered an item online and was informed weeks later that the delivery would be in more than 3 months. Wrote them to cancel the order pre production and they told me the only way to cancel is to cancel within 24hours (before actually receiving a shipping estimate) or wait until it is delivered and then return it and having to incur the cost for shipping it back. No common sense, unhelpful customer service, horrific business practice.

DO NOT BUY from Interior Icons. I ordered two Pia Ottomans in Rust Velvet. What I received was labeled “Red Velvet” and looks nothing like the color shown on their website—much redder and completely off from the decor I planned around it. Despite multiple emails, photos, and a clear explanation that this was a case of misrepresentation, not order error, the company refused to offer any resolution beyond a return. I haven't even received the item I ordered yet, but my experience is soured by the shipping/delivery process. It is relatively costly, but the issue is that the shipper is a third party. It took me a half hour to try to reach them. This, after navigating around a clumsy website. The phone number is buried on the site somewhere. The chat cut off all three times I tried. Ordered 265 Style lamp which came in a very poor quality. It was not properly holding together, scratched etc. I was shook when I opened it and it reflected negatively on me as an industry professional. Shipping and return cost almost as much as the lamp itself. Loss for the client and embarrassment for me. Do not recommend.
