I lived here for 2 years and enjoyed every bit of it. Jourdan is a great property manager and she does her best to maintain a great community. Would recommend any UIUC student/staff to live here !
I am making this review after I had moved out a year ago. I enjoyed living my last two years of college here! Jourdan, the building manager at the time, was so sweet and helpful. Any issues or questions that I had, she immediately assisted me. She was always saying hi to residents and was the kindest. ICON will forever my favorite apartment building on campus, thank you for making my time at UIUC memorable!
My daughter stayed at this apartment building for almost 3 years and had a truly wonderful experience. The property is well-maintained, safe, and in a great location, but what really sets it apart is the management—especially Jordan. She is absolutely the best! Incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely caring, Jordan made sure everything ran smoothly and was always there when needed. The mailing system is absolutely awful. You can only pick up your mail from 9-5 on a weekday (when most people have work or classes), and sometimes they close early because there is only one person running the office so if they’re sick or have something else going on, you can’t pick up your packages. Also, the rooms have very little sunlight (the interior windows are blocked by massive walls), and a lot of the furniture was scratched or broken. 2 stars because at least the rooms are fairly spacious, but I don’t think it’s wo... read more
