We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at iCode Columbia! My son loved every minute of it and came home excited to tell us about the new ways he learned to code and create his own games. It was great seeing him so engaged while also learning skills that are both fun and educational. The staff was fantastic, they were friendly, patient, encouraging, and clearly great with kids. I honestly am not a big fan of iCode summer camp. The kids spend all day staring at the screen and were not actively told to rest their eyes regularly. They seem to have a good time but who doesn’t like to play games all day? Not sure they learned anything useful. We did minecraft and the 3D printing camps. Will not go there again and save our $400
My children enjoyed their python drone and battle bots class. They were able to explain their python example code after just one week. During the battle bots camp they enjoyed designing a robot, block coding and working as a team. They are looking forward to trying other classes iCode Columbia offers.
Our children had a great time and learned about animation. The staff were kind and warm and knowledgeable. The facilities were modern and clean. Great company!
Our son completed the Gray Belt: Programming in Minecraft & Roblox course. A few things he enjoyed include learning more about Python & Lua language, the teacher(s) giving step-by-step instructions when he had questions about writing code, and getting breaks during class.
