We are located in Old Town Florence, sitting right on the Siuslaw River with a beautiful view of the marina and mountains. We proudly offer a wide variety of seafood. Our full bar has an exciting view of our open kitchen so you can sit back, relax and watch the action! Our large patio seating provides the opportunity to bring along your well behaved, leashed dogs. Like a visit to a used car lot... First, the hard sell by the owner at the door (I new I should have kept walking!). Then the soda with the taste of soap or cleaning liquid. The clam chowder tasted like it came from a dried supermarket soup mix. Worst of all, the expensive mix of crab, shrimp, squid, clam, mussel (note the singular usage) in a "white wine and herb sauce" was a bland unappetizing mess in a gray liquid that tasted more like something you'd find a windshield squeegee sitting in. Way overpriced. Do NOT do it!
What a bad experience! Our experience at this establishment was something of a myth. We were going to go to Moe's next door but were persuaded by the owner that the ICM served the freshest renowned seafood in the area. It was the worst seafood experience of our lives, all 8 people in our party concurred. The sides were frozen or instant and were still cold. Great Atmosphere There's something about eating seafood in a waterfront restaurant that is especially satisfying. This full service place is located along the Siuslaw River docks where the fishermen come in with their catch from the Pacific. There are not great river views but it has a feel of the adjacent activity. Needless to say, the fish is fresh. I prefer the seating on the bar side of the restaurant as opposed to the booths when you come in the door. I've never liked the name of this restaurant but the food keeps me as... read more
Disappointed with the shrimp cocktail. It was a bowl of tiny shrimp and a second bowl of sauce. Clam chowder was good. Very pricey for what you get.#good ambiance#friendly staff
