We are selling our large riverfront home to downsize on upkeep as we near early retirement. You really need to micromanage these people. Once you sign the contract, they don't care about your preferences. Whatever you do, do not give them a good survey result before your preferences are met. We gave our builder an undeserved high score and were ignored or brushed off afterwards.
Bad build, water intrusion, black mold, ants in my home. Paint retaining exterior wall wall looked like the house was crying. My 2 yr old home was screwed as were we. Nice going ici.
