Ichiban on Union Street offers a range of Japanese delights other than the usual sushi rolls. Fresh, local ingredients blend well with old, traditional recipes and the result is a much-adored menu full of favorites like spicy tuna salad, California hand rolls, kamikaze maki roll, to name some. Although are many maki, temaki, sashimi and tempura preparations, there is a wide variety of rice, noodle and curry dishes as well. The service is good and the over all experience at Ichiban is well worth it.

Ichiban Had passed by many times and never eaten there, the food is tasy and the service was good. Decorations are sparse and tastefully done with Japanese feel. Definitely will repeat when I am in the area.
Unique! Very unique is the best way to describe this restaurant, I believe it's in the only restaurant in the area that specializes in Japense food. Great atmosphere & VERY neat and clean. Great date restaurant!

Ichiban's sushi is sooooo goood. Great atmosphere - really really close to my house. lol. Their mochi ice cream is also really tasty!
