Love my Icebreaker gear – I started wearing Icebreaker BodyFit base layers this winter for skiing, and wearing Icebreaker merino socks for running in the damp Portland winter, and love them both! Regulates temperature whether it's cold or balmy, super-comfy, and keeps away that nasty polypro stink. Every bit as good as Smartwool or Ibex, check 'em out.
Great natural performance apparel – Merino is a fantastic performance fiber -- unlike synthetics and cotton it doesn't hold odor, breathes beautifully and doesn't itch like traditional wool. New Zealand's Icebreaker makes fantastic baselayer (long undies), run/bike/hike apparel, and stuff for just kicking around. Beautiful stuff. This is their only US store!
