I had such a great Experience from I Care transportation that I had to share. Our driver Rashad transported myself and my brother both ways to an eye doctor appointment. He was on time, friendly and very helpful getting my brother in the van since he was in a wheelchair going to the doctors appointment. Once we got there, we weren’t sure where the entrance was to get to the office. If you are an EMT or Paramedic, please keep looking for work. Management is disorganized, you do not know your schedule until the day before, no breaks for lunch. Working here is like being in an abusive relationship and when you set healthy boundaries with management, they write you off. Speak out about co-workers with poor work ethic, and they make a point to keep the dead weight around. 10 out of 10, do not recommend!
It has been awhile since we used ICare. It was for a doctor's appointment. Our driver, I believe her name is Panear. (forgive my spelling) She was the sweetest young lady. She made us feel like friends, out for a ride together. Our ride was a bit bumpy, thank you Maryland State Road. Thank you
I agree with Mark. I have text messages where the owner is trying to keep a Bonus I earned in DEC because I had a 4 hour WAIT at University Of Maryland Shock Trauma and she told me that I stole money from her. They push many calls several hours late and then LIE saying the Hospital changed the time. The Ambulance Crew always gets the brunt of this, and if ANYONE would like to see the text messages JUST MESSAGE ME. So I have ALL text messages. 2 weeks before we WERE ORDERED to stay and wait. We were REFUSED to go get ANY food... read more
pick up is always good .. Always early friendly etc... when it is time for pick up it is horrible. went out with a resident they left her on appointment place stretcher pick up was supposed to be at 1.. called for pick up told an hour wait, recalled another excuse and told another hour called again another 45 min . mind u kept reminding them this resident hasn't had breakfast or lunch and it is unacceptable.. the facility called was placed in hold never answered them ... let's just say after the appointment place called and ... read more
