I have had a couple of injuries treated by the folks here and my wife has had one. The doctors are helpful but the front desk staff is ridiculous. They have been rude every time I have gone in, both to me and to other patients. Other reviewers have experienced the same problem. Please address this issue, IBJI, or you will continue to lose patients who are simply looking for competent and helpful healthcare providers.
We are regular patients of IBJ in Gurnee and have visited the Libertyville location receiving top notch treatment in clean and professional environments. This was not the case yesterday at the Barrington IBJ. First of all, this place is a dump. One would never know this is Barrington. The building is old, the office is tiny and there is zero privacy for treatment. There are no doors on the mri rooms. You can hear the entire conversation the mri tech is having with a patient. Horrible experience with the woman working reception today. I brought my mom to the ER for a knee injury that resulted in excruciating pain. The ER told us to go over across the street to the Ortho immediate care to get her knee looked at after her x-ray. My mom told the receptionist that she was in pain and had just come from the ER. The receptionist could not have been ruder and more unprofessional to my mother.
