Had 2 mri back to back the tech made the experience very comfortable despite being in the machine over an hour.
Excellent experience
Scheduling was a mess. They had 10 days to send in to insurance for approval and I called twice to get the status. Both times they said they would call me back and never did. By the time I finally called my insurance company to get a status I found out they had just submitted it 2 days ahead of time. Too late! This set me back another two weeks in getting my MRI and appropriate medical care. Non responsive and processing is a mess. I had a similar problem the last time I was here. Beware and stay on top of them.
I’ve had 2 MRIs done at IBJI Avondale. The receptionist over the phone was very short with me and didn’t let me ask any follow up questions and hung up. The first MRI I had done, the images were loaded in my chart right away, but the second MRI was not. I only wanted to see the images in my chart as I know the report wouldn’t have been made available that quickly. Receptionist could fix her attitude and be more professional.
