I genuinely wonder how this place still manages to operate without someone revoking their licence. I’ve stayed at many Ibis Budget hotels across Europe and the UK, and I can confidently say this is by far the worst of the lot. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Paid extra & organised late checkout online with booking.com. I worked night shift & didn't arrive back until late to the hotel. I had reception banging on my door 10am telling me l had to get out even though I had organised & paid for late check out. Waking me up from my sleep. I had gotten organised & left hotel just after 10am as I was not comfortable staying anymore. Requested a refund for the additional costs I paid at the reception & was told they could not do it. We booked Ibis Budget Dandenonog because we had an event in Cranbourne and it's the closest Ibis branded hotel. We have to complains because we just used the hotel to sleep. But the reception area needs to be improved because it has a certain "smell" to it. Not very appealing. The rooms needs to renovated or refurbished. Not too much but just get it cleaned up and modernized. There was also alot of commotion in the upper floors at night.
